چکیده

BackgroundTricuspid regurgitation (TR) is associated with poor outcomes after cardiac surgery. Guidelines recommend correction of severe TR in patients undergoing left-sided valve surgery but not coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). We sought to evaluate impact on CABG.MethodsAll (n = 28,027) CABG The Society Thoracic Surgeons (STS) regional database (2011 2018) were stratified by severity. Primary included major morbidity or mortality, which compared using univariate analysis.ResultsOf CABG, 4837 (17%) had mild, 800 (3%) moderate, and 81 (0.29%) TR. Increased severity was higher rate preoperative heart failure (none 5162 [23.4%] vs mild 1697 [35%] moderate 427 [53%] 54 [67%], P < .001] STS predicted risk mortality (1.0 [0.6 1.9) 1.4 [0.8 2.9] 2.8 [1.4 5.4] 6.2 [2.2 11.4], .001). Increasing postoperative renal (426 [1.9%] 145 [3%] 58 [7.3%] 7 [8.6%], .001), prolonged ventilation (1652 [7.5%] 495 [10.2%] 153 [19.1%] 22 [27.2%], (344 [1.6%] 132 [2.7%] 9 [11.1%], After adjustment, remained increased (all .05).ConclusionsIncreasing severity, although independently surgical risk, accounted for entirely calculator. This highlights the importance operative supports consideration concurrent tricuspid intervention significant CABG. Tricuspid All analysis. Of .05).

Evaluation of the Quality of Life among the Patients Undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting

Background: The coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is performed to completely or partially relieve the symptoms of coronary heart disease (CHD). One of the most important goals of this operation is the improvement of quality of life (QoL). The data obtained on healthrelated quality of life (HRQoL) represents the functional limitations and the alleviation of symptoms amon...

Subclavian artery reconstruction in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting.

The presence of occlusive disease of the subclavian artery (SCA) proximal to the origin of the internal thoracic artery (ITA) influences the operative strategy and the outcome of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Of 780 patients who underwent CABG, concomitant SCA occlusive lesions were reconstructed in 13 patients (nine males, four females). The affected SCAs were left-sided in 11 patien...

Mitral valve repair for ischemic moderate mitral regurgitation in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting

OBJECTIVES To investigate whether mitral valve repair (MVR) at the time of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) in patients with ischemic moderate mitral regurgitation (MR) and coronary artery disease could improve short- and mid-term postoperative outcomes. METHODS Between March 2013 and December 2015, 90 patients with moderate ischemic MR underwent first-time CABG in Bursa Yuksek Ihtisas...

Gastrointestinal complications in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting.

PURPOSE Gastrointestinal complications (GICs) such as gastroduodenal ulcer, enterocolitis, and ischemic colitis after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) are rare, but are associated with high mortality and morbidity. The present study was performed to detect risk factors and to investigate outcomes following GICs after CABG. METHODS Between January 1992 and December 2001, 17 of 549 patien...
